3. ceṣṭākendrācca tadraśmiṃ sādhayeduccaraśmivat .

From the `ceṣṭā-kendra` (motion center) one should calculate its ray in the same way as the `uccaraśmi` (exaltation ray). O twice-born (dvija), I have already explained the `ceṣṭā-kendra` for Mars (kuja) and other planets.
