मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-55, verse-17

पुण्योपभोगा एवोक्ता देवानामपि तास्वपि ।
शीतान्ताद्येषु चैतषु शैलेषु द्विजसत्तम ॥१७॥
17. puṇyopabhogā evoktā devānāmapi tāsvapi .
śītāntādyeṣu caitaṣu śaileṣu dvijasattama.
17. puṇyopabhogāḥ eva uktāḥ devānām api tāsu api
śītāntādyeṣu ca eteṣu śaileṣu dvijasattama
17. O best among brahmins, it is said that even for the gods, meritorious enjoyments are found in these very mountains, especially among those like Śītānta and others.
