महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-41, verse-16

एवमुक्तस्तु देवेशो जयद्रथमथाब्रवीत् ।
ददामि ते वरं सौम्य विना पार्थं धनंजयम् ॥१६॥
16. evamuktastu deveśo jayadrathamathābravīt ,
dadāmi te varaṁ saumya vinā pārthaṁ dhanaṁjayam.

dadāmi te varam saumya vinā pārtham dhanaṃjayam
16. evam uktaḥ tu deveśaḥ atha jayadratham abravīt

16. Thus addressed, the Lord of gods (deveśa) then said to Jayadratha, 'O gentle one, I grant you a boon, but without Partha (Arjuna) Dhananjaya.'
