महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-95, verse-4

निमित्तमरणास्त्वन्ये चन्द्रसूर्यौ मही जलम् ।
वायुरग्निस्तथाकाशं ग्रहास्तारागणास्तथा ॥४॥
4. nimittamaraṇāstvanye candrasūryau mahī jalam ,
vāyuragnistathākāśaṁ grahāstārāgaṇāstathā.
4. nimittamaraṇāḥ tu anye candrasūryau mahī jalam
vāyuḥ agniḥ tathā ākāśam grahāḥ tārāgaṇāḥ tathā
4. But others—the moon and the sun, the earth, water, air, fire, and also space (ākāśa), planets, and hosts of stars—have death as their cause; that is, they are subject to dissolution.
