महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-95, verse-21

इत्यामन्त्र्य सुधर्मां स कृत्वा चाभिप्रदक्षिणम् ।
कन्यां शिरस्युपाघ्राय प्रविवेश महीतलम् ॥२१॥
21. ityāmantrya sudharmāṁ sa kṛtvā cābhipradakṣiṇam ,
kanyāṁ śirasyupāghrāya praviveśa mahītalam.
21. iti āmantrya sudharmām sa kṛtvā ca abhipradakṣiṇam
kanyām śirasi upāghrāya praviveśa mahītalam
21. Having thus addressed Sudharmā, and after performing a respectful circumambulation, he smelled the girl on the head (as a blessing) and then entered the surface of the earth.
