महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-59, verse-10

भीष्मद्रोणकृपादीनां भयादशनिसंमितम् ।
रिरक्षिषन्तः संरम्भं गमिष्यन्तीति मे मतिः ॥१०॥

10. My opinion is that, out of fear of Bhīṣma, Droṇa, Kṛpa, and others, they will resort to protecting their thunderbolt-like valor (saṃrambha).
