महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-195, verse-20

क्रोधाद्यं पुरुषं पश्येस्त्वं वासवसमद्युते ।
क्षिप्रं न स भवेद्व्यक्तमिति त्वां वेद्मि कौरव ॥२०॥
20. krodhādyaṁ puruṣaṁ paśyestvaṁ vāsavasamadyute ,
kṣipraṁ na sa bhavedvyaktamiti tvāṁ vedmi kaurava.
20. krodhāt yam puruṣam paśyeḥ tvam vāsavasamadyute
kṣipram na saḥ bhavet vyaktam iti tvām vedmi kaurava
20. vāsavasamadyute kaurava tvam yam puruṣam krodhāt
paśyeḥ saḥ kṣipram vyaktam na bhavet iti tvām vedmi
20. O you whose splendor is like Vasava's (Indra's), if you were to see a person (puruṣa) who is the very embodiment of wrath, he would not quickly remain manifest. Thus I know you, O Kaurava.
