महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-195, verse-13

यद्युगान्ते पशुपतिः सर्वभूतानि संहरन् ।
प्रयुङ्क्ते पुरुषव्याघ्र तदिदं मयि वर्तते ॥१३॥
13. yadyugānte paśupatiḥ sarvabhūtāni saṁharan ,
prayuṅkte puruṣavyāghra tadidaṁ mayi vartate.

13. O tiger among men (puruṣavyāghra), if Paśupati (Śiva) employs this [weapon] at the end of an eon, annihilating all beings, then that very power now resides within me.
