महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-191, verse-10

स प्रकृत्या च वै भीरुः किल्बिषी च नराधिपः ।
भयं तीव्रमनुप्राप्तो द्रुपदः पृथिवीपतिः ॥१०॥
10. sa prakṛtyā ca vai bhīruḥ kilbiṣī ca narādhipaḥ ,
bhayaṁ tīvramanuprāpto drupadaḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ.
10. saḥ prakṛtyā ca vai bhīruḥ kilbiṣī ca nara-adhipaḥ
bhayam tīvram anu-prāptaḥ drupadaḥ pṛthivī-patiḥ
10. saḥ drupadaḥ pṛthivī-patiḥ nara-adhipaḥ,
prakṛtyā ca vai bhīruḥ ca kilbiṣī (āsīt),
tīvram bhayam anu-prāptaḥ.
10. Indeed, that king (nara-adhipa), Drupada, the ruler of the earth (pṛthivī-pati), was by nature (prakṛti) timid and also an offender, and he experienced intense fear.
