महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-137, verse-5

तं चेत्पुत्रात्प्रियतरं प्रतियोत्स्ये धनंजयम् ।
क्षत्रधर्ममनुष्ठाय धिगस्तु क्षत्रजीविकाम् ॥५॥
5. taṁ cetputrātpriyataraṁ pratiyotsye dhanaṁjayam ,
kṣatradharmamanuṣṭhāya dhigastu kṣatrajīvikām.
5. tam cet putrāt priyataraṃ pratiyotsye dhanaṃjayam
kṣatradharmam anuṣṭhāya dhik astu kṣatrajīvikām
5. cet putrāt priyataraṃ tam dhanaṃjayam pratiyotsye,

5. If I, having upheld the warrior's code (kṣatradharma), fight against Arjuna, who is dearer to me than a son, then shame be upon this warrior's livelihood!
