महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-137, verse-20

सहाया ब्राह्मणा यस्य धृतिमन्तो जितेन्द्रियाः ।
तमुग्रतपसं वीरं कथं जेष्यसि पाण्डवम् ॥२०॥
20. sahāyā brāhmaṇā yasya dhṛtimanto jitendriyāḥ ,
tamugratapasaṁ vīraṁ kathaṁ jeṣyasi pāṇḍavam.
20. sahāyāḥ brāhmaṇāḥ yasya dhṛtimantaḥ jitendriyāḥ
tam ugratapasam vīram katham jeṣyasi pāṇḍavam
20. yasya dhṛtimantaḥ jitendriyāḥ brāhmaṇāḥ sahāyāḥ,
tam ugratapasam vīram pāṇḍavam katham tvam jeṣyasi?
20. How will you conquer that heroic Pāṇḍava, whose helpers are steadfast Brahmins who have subdued their senses (jitendriyāḥ), and who himself observes severe asceticism (tapas)?
