महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-134, verse-21

नियन्तारमसाधूनां गोप्तारं धर्मचारिणाम् ।
तदर्थं क्षत्रिया सूते वीरं सत्यपराक्रमम् ॥२१॥
21. niyantāramasādhūnāṁ goptāraṁ dharmacāriṇām ,
tadarthaṁ kṣatriyā sūte vīraṁ satyaparākramam.
21. niyantāram asādhūnām goptāram dharmacāriṇām
tadartham kṣatriyā sūte vīram satyaparākramam
21. (saḥ) asādhūnām niyantāram dharmacāriṇām goptāram (bhavati) tadartham kṣatriyā satyaparākramam vīram sūte.
21. He is a controller of the wicked, a protector of those who abide by natural law (dharma); for this very purpose, a Kṣatriya woman gives birth to such a heroic son of true valor.
