महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-134, verse-10

तादृशा हि सहाया वै पुरुषस्य बुभूषतः ।
ईषदुज्जिहतः किंचित्सचिवाः शत्रुकर्शनाः ॥१०॥
10. tādṛśā hi sahāyā vai puruṣasya bubhūṣataḥ ,
īṣadujjihataḥ kiṁcitsacivāḥ śatrukarśanāḥ.

īṣat ujjihataḥ kiñcit sacivāḥ śatrukarśanāḥ
10. hi vai tādṛśāḥ śatrukarśanāḥ sacivāḥ sahāyāḥ
puruṣasya bubhūṣataḥ īṣat kiñcit ujjihataḥ
10. Truly, such ministers (sacivāḥ), who can subdue enemies, are indeed the best helpers for a person (puruṣa) who desires to prosper and is making even a slight effort to rise.
