महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-117, verse-23

गालवस्त्वभ्यनुज्ञाय सुपर्णं पन्नगाशनम् ।
पितुर्निर्यात्य तां कन्यां प्रययौ वनमेव ह ॥२३॥
23. gālavastvabhyanujñāya suparṇaṁ pannagāśanam ,
piturniryātya tāṁ kanyāṁ prayayau vanameva ha.
23. gālavaḥ tu abhyanuñjñāya suparṇaṃ pannagāśanam
pituḥ niryātya tāṃ kanyāṃ prāyayau vanam eva ha
23. But Galava, having taken leave of Suparna, the eater of serpents (pannagāśana), and having returned that maiden to her father, truly departed for the forest.
