महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-117, verse-17

स तया रममाणोऽथ विश्वामित्रो महाद्युतिः ।
आत्मजं जनयामास माधवीपुत्रमष्टकम् ॥१७॥
17. sa tayā ramamāṇo'tha viśvāmitro mahādyutiḥ ,
ātmajaṁ janayāmāsa mādhavīputramaṣṭakam.

17. Then, the glorious Viśvāmitra, delighting with her, begot his own son (ātmajam), Aṣṭaka, the son of Mādhavī.
