महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-31, verse-13

नागभोगनिकाशैश्च बाहुभिश्चन्दनोक्षितैः ।
आकीर्णा वसुधा तत्र शिरोभिश्च सकुण्डलैः ॥१३॥
13. nāgabhoganikāśaiśca bāhubhiścandanokṣitaiḥ ,
ākīrṇā vasudhā tatra śirobhiśca sakuṇḍalaiḥ.

13. There, the earth was strewn with arms, resembling the hoods of serpents (nāgas) and anointed with sandalwood paste, as well as with heads still adorned with earrings.
