महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-86, verse-11

कुमार्यः कथिताः पुण्याः पाण्ड्येष्वेव नरर्षभ ।
ताम्रपर्णीं तु कौन्तेय कीर्तयिष्यामि तां शृणु ॥११॥
11. kumāryaḥ kathitāḥ puṇyāḥ pāṇḍyeṣveva nararṣabha ,
tāmraparṇīṁ tu kaunteya kīrtayiṣyāmi tāṁ śṛṇu.
11. kumāryaḥ kathitāḥ puṇyāḥ pāṇḍyeṣu eva nararṣabha
tāmraparṇīm tu kaunteya kīrtayiṣyāmi tām śṛṇu
11. O best of men, the Kumārīs are declared sacred, specifically among the Pāṇḍyas. But, O son of Kunti, I will speak of the Tāmraparṇī; listen to that.
