महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-53, verse-4

यदि चेद्भजमानां मां प्रत्याख्यास्यसि मानद ।
विषमग्निं जलं रज्जुमास्थास्ये तव कारणात् ॥४॥
4. yadi cedbhajamānāṁ māṁ pratyākhyāsyasi mānada ,
viṣamagniṁ jalaṁ rajjumāsthāsye tava kāraṇāt.
4. yadi cet bhajamānām mām pratyākhyāsyasi mānada
viṣam agnim jalam rajjum āsthāsye tava kāraṇāt
4. If you reject me, who am devoted to you, O honorable one (mānada), then I shall resort to poison, fire, water, or a rope because of you.
