महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-286, verse-17

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वा सहस्रांशुः सहसान्तरधीयत ।
ततः सूर्याय जप्यान्ते कर्णः स्वप्नं न्यवेदयत् ॥१७॥
17. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evamuktvā sahasrāṁśuḥ sahasāntaradhīyata ,
tataḥ sūryāya japyānte karṇaḥ svapnaṁ nyavedayat.
17. vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca evam uktvā sahasrāṃśuḥ sahasā
antaradhīyata tataḥ sūryāya japyānte karṇaḥ svapnam nyavedayat
17. Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus, the thousand-rayed one (Sūrya) suddenly vanished. Then, after his daily prayers, Karna narrated his dream to Sūrya.
