महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-271, verse-18

तं दृष्ट्वा वृत्रसंकाशं कुम्भकर्णं तरस्विनम् ।
गतासुं पतितं भूमौ राक्षसाः प्राद्रवन्भयात् ॥१८॥
18. taṁ dṛṣṭvā vṛtrasaṁkāśaṁ kumbhakarṇaṁ tarasvinam ,
gatāsuṁ patitaṁ bhūmau rākṣasāḥ prādravanbhayāt.

gatāsum patitam bhūmau rākṣasāḥ prādravan bhayāt
18. Upon seeing that mighty Kumbhakarṇa, who resembled Vṛtra, fallen lifeless on the ground, the Rākṣasas fled in fear.
