महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-271, verse-16

स बभूवातिकायश्च बहुपादशिरोभुजः ।
तं ब्रह्मास्त्रेण सौमित्रिर्ददाहाद्रिचयोपमम् ॥१६॥
16. sa babhūvātikāyaśca bahupādaśirobhujaḥ ,
taṁ brahmāstreṇa saumitrirdadāhādricayopamam.

brahmāstreṇa saumitriḥ dadāha adricayopamam
16. And he (Kabandha) became enormously huge-bodied, with many feet, heads, and arms. Lakṣmaṇa (saumitriḥ) then burnt him, who resembled a heap of mountains, with the Brahmā weapon (brahmāstra).
