महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-251, verse-16

न वै प्राज्ञा गतश्रीकं भर्तारमुपयुञ्जते ।
युञ्जानमनुयुञ्जीत न श्रियः संक्षये वसेत् ॥१६॥
16. na vai prājñā gataśrīkaṁ bhartāramupayuñjate ,
yuñjānamanuyuñjīta na śriyaḥ saṁkṣaye vaset.

yuñjānam anuyuñjīta na śriyaḥ saṃkṣaye vaset
16. Indeed, wise persons do not serve a master who is devoid of prosperity. One should indeed serve a prosperous one; one should not remain where prosperity is in decline.
