यः प्रशान्तेषु भूतेषु मन्युर्भवति पावकः ।
क्रोधस्य तु रसो जज्ञे मन्यती चाथ पुत्रिका ।
स्वाहेति दारुणा क्रूरा सर्वभूतेषु तिष्ठति ॥२२॥

22. yaḥ praśānteṣu bhūteṣu manyurbhavati pāvakaḥ ,
krodhasya tu raso jajñe manyatī cātha putrikā ,
svāheti dāruṇā krūrā sarvabhūteṣu tiṣṭhati.

22. The wrath (manyu) that manifests as fire (pāvaka) even among peaceful beings; indeed, from anger (krodha) was born its essence (rasa), and also a daughter, Manyati. That terrible and cruel Swāhā thus abides in all beings.
