महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-209, verse-21

उदग्द्वारं हविर्यस्य गृहे नित्यं प्रदीयते ।
ततः स्विष्टं भवेदाज्यं स्विष्टकृत्परमः स्मृतः ॥२१॥
21. udagdvāraṁ haviryasya gṛhe nityaṁ pradīyate ,
tataḥ sviṣṭaṁ bhavedājyaṁ sviṣṭakṛtparamaḥ smṛtaḥ.
21. udagdvāram haviḥ yasya gṛhe nityam pradīyate tataḥ
sviṣṭam bhavet ājyam sviṣṭakṛt paramaḥ smṛtaḥ
21. In the house where oblations (havis) are always offered through a north-facing door, the ghee (ājyam) thereby becomes properly offered. The deity who ensures a well-offered sacrifice (sviṣṭakṛt) is remembered as supreme.
