महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-182, verse-11

तानब्रवीत्स विप्रर्षिः कथं वो ब्राह्मणो हतः ।
क्व चासौ ब्रूत सहिताः पश्यध्वं मे तपोबलम् ॥११॥
11. tānabravītsa viprarṣiḥ kathaṁ vo brāhmaṇo hataḥ ,
kva cāsau brūta sahitāḥ paśyadhvaṁ me tapobalam.
11. tān abravīt sa viprarṣiḥ katham vaḥ brāhmaṇaḥ hataḥ
kva ca asau brūta sahitāḥ paśyadhvam me tapobalam
11. That Brahmin-sage (viprarṣi) said to them, "How was a Brahmin killed by you? And where is he? All of you, tell me. Then, witness my ascetic power (tapas)."
