महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-144, verse-25

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
अनुज्ञातो धर्मराज्ञा पुत्रं सस्मार राक्षसम् ।
घटोत्कचश्च धर्मात्मा स्मृतमात्रः पितुस्तदा ।
कृताञ्जलिरुपातिष्ठदभिवाद्याथ पाण्डवान् ॥२५॥
25. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
anujñāto dharmarājñā putraṁ sasmāra rākṣasam ,
ghaṭotkacaśca dharmātmā smṛtamātraḥ pitustadā ,
kṛtāñjalirupātiṣṭhadabhivādyātha pāṇḍavān.
25. vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca anujñātaḥ dharmarājñā
putram sasmāra rākṣasam ghaṭotkacaḥ ca
dharmātmā smṛtamātraḥ pituḥ tadā kṛtāñjaliḥ
upa atiṣṭhat abhivādya atha pāṇḍavān
25. Vaiśampāyana said: Having received permission from Yudhishthira, the king upholding righteousness (dharma), Bhīma remembered his Rākṣasa son. And Ghaṭotkaca, whose spirit (ātman) was righteous (dharma), as soon as his father remembered him, then stood before them with folded hands, after respectfully greeting the Pāṇḍavas.
