महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-104, verse-7

स हैहयान्समुत्साद्य तालजङ्घांश्च भारत ।
वशे च कृत्वा राज्ञोऽन्यान्स्वराज्यमन्वशासत ॥७॥
7. sa haihayānsamutsādya tālajaṅghāṁśca bhārata ,
vaśe ca kṛtvā rājño'nyānsvarājyamanvaśāsata.

7. O Bhārata, he (Sagara), having exterminated the Haihayas and the Tālajaṅghas, and having brought other kings under his control, then ruled his own kingdom.
