महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-104, verse-2

महता कालयोगेन प्रकृतिं यास्यतेऽर्णवः ।
ज्ञातीन्वै कारणं कृत्वा महाराज्ञो भगीरथात् ॥२॥
2. mahatā kālayogena prakṛtiṁ yāsyate'rṇavaḥ ,
jñātīnvai kāraṇaṁ kṛtvā mahārājño bhagīrathāt.

2. Over a long period of time (kālayoga), the ocean will return to its natural state (prakṛti), with the kinsmen (jñāti) being the reason, by means of the great king Bhāgīratha.
