इन्द्र उवाच ।
किमिदं रोदिषि शुभे कच्चित्क्षेमं दिवौकसाम् ।
मानुषेष्वथ वा गोषु नैतदल्पं भविष्यति ॥८॥

8. indra uvāca ,
kimidaṁ rodiṣi śubhe kaccitkṣemaṁ divaukasām ,
mānuṣeṣvatha vā goṣu naitadalpaṁ bhaviṣyati.

divaukasām | mānuṣeṣu atha vā goṣu na etat alpam bhaviṣyati

8. Indra said: 'O auspicious one, why are you weeping? Is all well with the celestial beings? Or with humans, or with cows? This cannot be a trivial matter.'
