युधिष्ठिर उवाच ।
धातुर्नियोगाद्भूतानि प्राप्नुवन्ति शुभाशुभम् ।
न निवृत्तिस्तयोरस्ति देवितव्यं पुनर्यदि ॥३॥

dhāturniyogādbhūtāni prāpnuvanti śubhāśubham ,
na nivṛttistayorasti devitavyaṁ punaryadi.

Yudhishthira said: "By the ordinance of the Creator (dhātṛ), beings attain both auspicious and inauspicious outcomes. There is no cessation from these two if one must gamble again."
