महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-24, verse-7

राज्यस्थया तपस्तप्तं दानं दत्तं व्रतं कृतम् ।
अनया शक्यमद्येह श्रूयतां च वचो मम ॥७॥

7. rājyasthayā tapastaptaṁ dānaṁ dattaṁ vrataṁ kṛtam ,
anayā śakyamadyeha śrūyatāṁ ca vaco mama.

7. While dwelling in the kingdom, asceticism (tapas) was performed by her, gifts (dāna) were given, and vows were undertaken. This is possible for her even today here. And let my word be heard.
