महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-88, verse-20

तं भवान्मदपेक्षार्थं विधिवत्प्रतिपूजयेत् ।
स हि भक्तोऽनुरक्तश्च मम नित्यमिति प्रभो ॥२०॥
20. taṁ bhavānmadapekṣārthaṁ vidhivatpratipūjayet ,
sa hi bhakto'nuraktaśca mama nityamiti prabho.
20. tam bhavān mad-apekṣārtham vidhivat pratipūjayet
sa hi bhaktaḥ anuraktaḥ ca mama nityam iti prabho
20. prabho bhavān tam mad-apekṣārtham vidhivat
pratipūjayet hi sa mama nityam bhaktaḥ अनुरक्तः च इति
20. You should duly honor him for my sake. For he is always devoted and attached to me, O Lord.
