महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-56, verse-9

जमदग्नौ महाभागे तपसा भावितात्मनि ।
स चापि भृगुशार्दूलस्तं वेदं धारयिष्यति ॥९॥
9. jamadagnau mahābhāge tapasā bhāvitātmani ,
sa cāpi bhṛguśārdūlastaṁ vedaṁ dhārayiṣyati.

ca api bhṛguśārdūlaḥ tam vedam dhārayisyati

9. To the illustrious Jamadagni, whose inner self has been purified by asceticism (tapas), that tiger among Bhrigus will also master that knowledge.
