महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-147, verse-23

ब्राह्मणेषु च वृत्तिर्या पितृपैतामहोचिता ।
तामन्वेहि महाबाहो स्वर्गस्यैते हि देशिकाः ॥२३॥
23. brāhmaṇeṣu ca vṛttiryā pitṛpaitāmahocitā ,
tāmanvehi mahābāho svargasyaite hi deśikāḥ.
23. brāhmaṇeṣu ca vṛttiḥ yā pitṛpaitāmahocitā |
tām anvehi mahābāho svargasya ete hi deśikāḥ
23. O mighty-armed one, follow that conduct towards the Brahmins which is fitting for your ancestors. Indeed, they are the guides to heaven.
