महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-147, verse-22

अहिंसा सत्यमक्रोधो दानमेतच्चतुष्टयम् ।
अजातशत्रो सेवस्व धर्म एष सनातनः ॥२२॥
22. ahiṁsā satyamakrodho dānametaccatuṣṭayam ,
ajātaśatro sevasva dharma eṣa sanātanaḥ.
22. ahiṃsā satyam akrodhaḥ dānam etat catuṣṭayam
| ajātaśatro sevasva dharmaḥ eṣaḥ sanātanaḥ
22. O Ajātaśatru, practice these four virtues: non-violence, truthfulness, non-anger, and charity. This is the eternal natural law (dharma).
