महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-348, verse-1

नाग उवाच ।
अथ ब्राह्मणरूपेण कं तं समनुपश्यसि ।
मानुषं केवलं विप्रं देवं वाथ शुचिस्मिते ॥१॥
1. nāga uvāca ,
atha brāhmaṇarūpeṇa kaṁ taṁ samanupaśyasi ,
mānuṣaṁ kevalaṁ vipraṁ devaṁ vātha śucismite.
1. nāga uvāca atha brāhmaṇarūpeṇa kam tam samanupaśyasi
mānuṣam kevalam vipram devam vā atha śucismite
1. The Naga said, "Now, in the form of a brahmin, whom do you perceive him to be? Is he merely a human, a brahmin, or a god, O lady with a pure smile?"
