महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-283, verse-24

न संकरेण द्रविणं विचिन्वीत विचक्षणः ।
धर्मार्थं न्यायमुत्सृज्य न तत्कल्याणमुच्यते ॥२४॥
24. na saṁkareṇa draviṇaṁ vicinvīta vicakṣaṇaḥ ,
dharmārthaṁ nyāyamutsṛjya na tatkalyāṇamucyate.

24. A discerning person should not acquire wealth through dishonest means. It is not considered beneficial when one abandons justice (nyāya) for the sake of righteousness (dharma).
