One perceives the Self (ātman) by the Self (ātman), which is illumined by the radiant lamp of knowledge (jñānadīpa). Having realized the Self (ātman) by means of the Self (ātman), you become transcendent of individual selfhood (nirātman) and all-knowing (sarvavit).
