महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-135, verse-21

पृथिवी देश इत्युक्तः कालः स च न दृश्यते ।
अभिप्रेतार्थसिद्ध्यर्थं न्यायतो यच्च तत्तथा ॥२१॥
21. pṛthivī deśa ityuktaḥ kālaḥ sa ca na dṛśyate ,
abhipretārthasiddhyarthaṁ nyāyato yacca tattathā.

abhipreta-artha-siddhy-artham nyāyataḥ yat ca tat tathā

21. The earth is referred to as 'place' (deśa), and time (kāla) is not seen. Whatever is done properly for the sake of achieving a desired purpose (artha), that (result) indeed comes to be in that way.
