महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-135, verse-19

अनागतविधानं तु यो नरः कुरुते क्षमम् ।
श्रेयः प्राप्नोति सोऽत्यर्थं दीर्घदर्शी यथा ह्यसौ ॥१९॥
19. anāgatavidhānaṁ tu yo naraḥ kurute kṣamam ,
śreyaḥ prāpnoti so'tyarthaṁ dīrghadarśī yathā hyasau.

prāpnoti saḥ atyartham dīrghadarśī yathā hi asau

19. But indeed, the person who makes appropriate provisions for what is yet to come, he attains great prosperity, just like that far-sighted and prudent individual.
