यो धर्मार्थौ समुत्सृज्य काममेवानुवर्तते ।
स धर्मार्थपरित्यागात्प्रज्ञानाशमिहार्छति ॥१४॥

Kāmandaka said: The person who completely abandons both natural law (dharma) and material prosperity, pursuing only desire, suffers the destruction of his wisdom in this world because of this forsaking of dharma and artha.
