महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-9, verse-7

ताः समाश्वासयत्क्षत्ता ताभ्यश्चार्ततरः स्वयम् ।
अश्रुकण्ठीः समारोप्य ततोऽसौ निर्ययौ पुरात् ॥७॥
7. tāḥ samāśvāsayatkṣattā tābhyaścārtataraḥ svayam ,
aśrukaṇṭhīḥ samāropya tato'sau niryayau purāt.

7. The charioteer (Vidura) consoled them, though he himself was more distressed than they were. After helping those with tearful voices to board (the vehicle), he then departed from the city.
