महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-9, verse-12

तान्युदीर्णानि नारीणां तदा वृन्दान्यनेकशः ।
शोकार्तान्यद्रवन्राजन्किशोरीणामिवाङ्गने ॥१२॥
12. tānyudīrṇāni nārīṇāṁ tadā vṛndānyanekaśaḥ ,
śokārtānyadravanrājankiśorīṇāmivāṅgane.
12. tāni udīrṇāni nārīṇām tadā vṛndāni anekaśaḥ
śokārtāni adravan rājan kiśorīṇām iva aṅgane
12. rājan tadā nārīṇām tāni anekaśaḥ udīrṇāni
śokārtāni vṛndāni aṅgane kiśorīṇām iva adravan
12. O King, at that time, those numerous groups of women, agitated and overcome with grief, ran about like young girls in a courtyard.
