महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-15, verse-20

यथैव त्वं तथैवाहं को वा माश्वासयिष्यति ।
ममैव ह्यपराधेन कुलमग्र्यं विनाशितम् ॥२०॥
20. yathaiva tvaṁ tathaivāhaṁ ko vā māśvāsayiṣyati ,
mamaiva hyaparādhena kulamagryaṁ vināśitam.
20. yathā eva tvam tathā eva aham kaḥ vā mām āśvāsayiṣyati
mama eva hi aparādhena kulam agryam vināśitam
20. tvam yathā eva tathā eva aham (asmi).
kaḥ vā mām āśvāsayiṣyati? hi mama eva aparādhena agryam kulam vināśitam.
20. You are in the same state as I am; so who will console me? For indeed, it is solely due to my offense that this foremost family has been destroyed.
