महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-47, verse-12

निर्माय चापि विधिवद्यज्ञायतनमीप्सितम् ।
राजानं दीक्षयामासुः सर्पसत्राप्तये तदा ॥१२॥
12. nirmāya cāpi vidhivadyajñāyatanamīpsitam ,
rājānaṁ dīkṣayāmāsuḥ sarpasatrāptaye tadā.

rājānam dīkṣayāmāsuḥ sarpasatra āptaye tadā
12. After duly constructing the desired sacrificial ground, they then initiated the king for the attainment of the serpent sacrifice.
