महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-47, verse-10

ततस्ते ऋत्विजस्तस्य शास्त्रतो द्विजसत्तम ।
देशं तं मापयामासुर्यज्ञायतनकारणात् ।
यथावज्ज्ञानविदुषः सर्वे बुद्ध्या परं गताः ॥१०॥
10. tataste ṛtvijastasya śāstrato dvijasattama ,
deśaṁ taṁ māpayāmāsuryajñāyatanakāraṇāt ,
yathāvajjñānaviduṣaḥ sarve buddhyā paraṁ gatāḥ.
10. tataḥ te ṛtvijaḥ tasya śāstrataḥ
dvijasattama deśam tam māpayām āsuḥ
yajñāyatana kāraṇāt yathāvat
jñānaviduṣaḥ sarve buddhyā param gatāḥ
10. Then, O best among Brahmins, those priests of his—all of them experts in knowledge who had attained supreme understanding through their intellect—duly measured that place according to scriptural rules for the purpose of establishing a sacrificial ground.
