महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-30, verse-18

अथागतास्तमुद्देशं सर्पाः सोमार्थिनस्तदा ।
स्नाताश्च कृतजप्याश्च प्रहृष्टाः कृतमङ्गलाः ॥१८॥
18. athāgatāstamuddeśaṁ sarpāḥ somārthinastadā ,
snātāśca kṛtajapyāśca prahṛṣṭāḥ kṛtamaṅgalāḥ.
18. atha āgatāḥ tam uddeśam sarpāḥ somārthinaḥ tadā
snātāḥ ca kṛtajapyāḥ ca prahṛṣṭāḥ kṛtamaṅgalāḥ
18. Then, at that time, the serpents, who desired the nectar, arrived at that spot. They were bathed, had performed their prayers, and completed auspicious rites, and were full of joy.
