महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-30, verse-15

इदमानीतममृतं निक्षेप्स्यामि कुशेषु वः ।
स्नाता मङ्गलसंयुक्तास्ततः प्राश्नीत पन्नगाः ॥१५॥
15. idamānītamamṛtaṁ nikṣepsyāmi kuśeṣu vaḥ ,
snātā maṅgalasaṁyuktāstataḥ prāśnīta pannagāḥ.
15. idam ānītam amṛtam nikṣepsyāmi kuśeṣu vaḥ
snātāḥ maṅgalasaṃyuktāḥ tataḥ prāśnīta pannagāḥ
15. O serpents, I will place this nectar, which I have brought, on the Darbha grass for you. After you have bathed and performed auspicious rituals, then consume it.
