महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-30, verse-11

सूत उवाच ।
इत्युक्तः प्रत्युवाचेदं कद्रूपुत्राननुस्मरन् ।
स्मृत्वा चैवोपधिकृतं मातुर्दास्यनिमित्ततः ॥११॥
11. sūta uvāca ,
ityuktaḥ pratyuvācedaṁ kadrūputrānanusmaran ,
smṛtvā caivopadhikṛtaṁ māturdāsyanimittataḥ.
11. sūtaḥ uvāca iti uktaḥ prati uvāca idam kadrūputrān
anusmaran smṛtvā ca eva upadhikṛtam mātuḥ dāsya nimittataḥ
11. Sūta said: "Being thus addressed, (Garuḍa) replied this, remembering the sons of Kadrū and recalling the deception that had been made regarding his mother's servitude."
