महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-29, verse-14

उवाच चैनं भूयोऽपि नारायणमिदं वचः ।
अजरश्चामरश्च स्याममृतेन विनाप्यहम् ॥१४॥
14. uvāca cainaṁ bhūyo'pi nārāyaṇamidaṁ vacaḥ ,
ajaraścāmaraśca syāmamṛtena vināpyaham.
14. uvāca ca enam bhūyaḥ api nārāyaṇam idam vacaḥ
ajaraḥ ca amaraḥ ca syām amṛtena vinā api aham
14. And again he (Garuḍa) spoke this speech to Nārāyaṇa (Vishnu): "May I be ageless and immortal, even without the elixir of immortality."
